#whiterabbitsnyc was a project I did in 2016 where i hid over
100 small original paintings everywhere we went on a trip to
NYC asking people to post a picture of themselves with the
bunny they found with the hashtag. Here are some of those
photos.
Hats Off To Mr. Lincoln was a fundraiser consisting of painted
Abraham Lincoln hats placed around Springfield, IL. Mine is
still in front of the Illinois State Museum. My theme was
based on the poem Lincoln by famous Springfield resident,
Vachel Lindsay.
Animal Protective League Billboards that I made the
paintings for to advertise parking spots for the Illinois
State Fair.
Books I have illustrated. The first is Emo's Great Story by
Brendhan Garland. I was given 3 days to illustrate it so it
was a fun and whirlwind project. The 2nd is Shawna's
Sparkle by Melissa Morrissey. 3rd is A Net to Snare the
Moonlight, poems by Vachel Lindsay.
Illinois Times Capitol City Visitor's Guides I painted
the covers of.
Objects I have painted for various fundraisers in my area.
My 2017 and 2018 artwork for #mabsdrawlloweenclub , an
event that takes place in October where any artist can follow a
prompt list and post one creepy subject a day, producing 31
pieces of Halloween themed art.
Located in the lobby of the Hoogland Center for the Arts,
this is a mural painting I did in 2018.
A wine label I was commissioned to make a painting for
from Danenberger Family Vinyards.
Poster for Pin Cushion, starring Lily Newmark and
Joanna Scanlan, written and directed by Deborah
Haywood.
Paint the Streets artwork from the past few years. This
event invites the public to literally paint artwork onto the
street, only to be washed away with the rain. My White Rabbit
won 2nd place in 2017 and my Alice won 1st in 2019.
Painted sheds at Ball Charter School. These barns are right by
the children's playground and invite the kids to feed the unicorn
and dragon inside.
A few of my collaborative pieces with my husband Jim
Edgecomb, who works in steel. Free-form canvas shaped
like a dress hanging on a steel hanger and 2 wall-hanging
masks.
